SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES FOR MENTAL HEALTH Related fields

The Michael Berube Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 Mental Health Leadership Scholarship— open to students residing in Long Beach, Nassau and Suffolk counties in New York, who will meet the following criteria:

• Enrollled graduate students or-

• Enrolled undergraduate students who will have completed a minimum of 70 credit hours by June 2026.

• Students in mental-health related majors such as: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Psychiatric Nursing, Marriage and Family Therapy, School Counseling, Human Services, Behavioral Health, or related programs.

What You’ll Need:

• Complete online form below.

• Transcript (unofficial is acceptable).

• 500-1000 word personal statement that addresses:

  • Your interest in mental health

  • Career goals

  • How this scholarship will support your educational journey

• One letter of recommendation

• If applicable-Letter of acceptance to a graduate program if graduate studies will begin Fall 2026.

• Resume

  Awards: $1,500 – $4,000
